Accommodation at La Guépinière a gite in Normandy
La Guépinière (Alencon, Normandy) is a gite set in a delightful courtyard formed from a walled garden, stone barns and the lodge, this in turn is surrounded on three sides by 2.5 acres of grounds. Guests of the gite are also welcome to make use of our heated swimming pool.
The gite at La Guépinière is situated in the East wing and boasts both a spacious and an exceptionaly high standard of comfortable accommodation.
The fitted kitchen is well equipped with a microwave oven, gas & electric hob, electric oven, dishwasher and fridge. The comfortable lounge dining room provides satellite tv, video and music centre for your enjoyment and overlooks the courtyard.
Upstairs are three bedrooms which comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. There are two luxury bathrooms one of which is en-suite.
An additional single bed could be positioned in the largest of the three bedrooms enabling 7. A cot is also available on request.
Outside guests are welcome to enjoy our beautiful walled courtyard garden which has ample garden chairs, tables etc for relaxing in the sun. Guests and their children are also welcome to make use of any of our fields for their recreation (provided they are not occupied by our horses!).
We also have a lovely circular swimming pool (18 feet diameter) which our guests are more than welcome to make use of AND it is HEATED ! (open mid May - mid October)
Secure off road parking is available witin the confines of our premises whether you are attending the Classic Car Rally in Le Mans, the 24 hour Endurance Race at Le Mans or are here to enjoy a holiday.
The property is also extremely secure for families with young children.
Broadband Internet access is available upon request.
The whole gite maintains many of its original beams, is very tastefully furnished and well equipped to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable, at any time of the year.
Our local boulangerie is a 5 minute stroll through the lanes, and the nearest large supermarket just under a mile away.
